THE FACE OF EVIL

This past week has been a very frightening experience for us personally as we all became very sick and we had a few life-threatening scares. The worst of it over now but just to be sure I'm not going to be drawing anything at least till the end of this week.




The Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious.

This picture was made in 2009, and one of the first pictures made for ~FandomComics with the intention of being used for promotional purposes. the original pencils were extremely small (see them here: [link] ) so it was necessary to ink this, and back then I only used Photoshop. Maybe I'll go back to it one day but I love SAI too much. What I'm particularly proud of here is the coloring; I think it's the best coloring I've done since THIS picture: [link]

And, this wasn't was intentional, but the robes actually have a sort of velvety texture to them that I noticed only AFTER I finished coloring it. I only wished I made this even larger scaled.
